GMS
In 2013 Clive Graham Associates completed three floors of refurbishment works at GlaxoSmithKline’s prestigious head office in Brentford. The project consisted of strip out and refurbishment of three floors within two buildings, which included a number of quiet booths, kitchens and offices.

Level 9
In December 2014 we completed our second project at GSK House, completing the refurbishment and fit out works to Level 9 over 3 months.  The works included; full floor strip out of the 2200m2 floor space, installation of new partition walls and glass partitions to newly designed floor layout, quiet booths and tea points installed to DDA requirements. Adaptions were made to the BMS to suit new floor layout, including ceiling lights, power and data.

Installation of additional access control systems and alterations to the ductwork provided additional ventilation to the floor. The project has provided office space, meetings rooms, quiet booths and kitchen facilities for the Legal department. We were also on site at the same time undertaking improvement works and upgrading finishes at the GSK Human Performance Lab.

GSK Human Performance Lab
The GSK Human Performance Lab is an 18,000 sq ft facility is equipped with technology that allows replication of any environmental, training or performance scenario enabling GSK scientists to explore entirely new areas of science and develop better training, recovery, nutrition, competition programmes and breakthrough products. CGA were asked to complete some improvement works to the facility which included; BMS remedial works, security system improvements, fit out of new kitchen facilities, decorations and installation of acoustic barriers to increase privacy between departments in the building.

CGA were asked to provide custom work solutions for sports equipment use and also custom made joinery items. Fire alarm and sprinklers remedial works were undertaken.

All work had to be completed over weekends due to the restricted access to the building as it had to remain operational during the week. On the 12th November 2014 the Duchess of Cambridge visited the ground breaking sports research facility as part of her patronage with the charity SportsAid.

Service Centres
We are currently on site undertaking works to the service centres across four floors at GSK House. The works include strip out, design and fit out to DDA compliance. New units, worktop, splash back have been provided with installation of new sinks and zip taps. Adaptations have been made to the electrics and plumbing. We have allowed 1-2 weeks per Services Centre.
